Marty and the Long-Necked Giraffe

Cheryl reads Marty and the
Long-Necked Giraffe

March is National Reading Month!

I found this book to be fun for adults to read aloud yet easy enough for youngsters to read alone. It is a tale of a mouse named Marty who encounters a series of “eye-popping” animals in search of his long-necked friend.

My only criticism is that ALL the animals were Male. Why couldn’t at least Mr. Flamingo and Mr Peacock been female? And why wasn’t the Long-Necked Giraffe named? Was it female? Non-Gender specific? Hmmmm…

Howsoever, I was hoping to share an Amazon Associate link but unfortunately there wasn’t one and there aren’t many options to purchase new.

Feel free to share my reading with your youngsters but even better try to find your own copy as it is truly a gem.

I will be sharing a new book each week during the month of March so stay tuned! -Cheryl

Disclaimer: I said Mr. Lizard had a LONG neck instead of a LONG tongue, and Mr. Flamingo is NOT a PERSON he’s a Bird?!
